Vacancy: director of women entrepreneurship (full-time in India)

The Director of Women Entrepreneurship will collaborate with state officials, executive teams, Women on Wings lead experts and program managers to develop a business model in a governmental setting. The role is responsible for executing the program as agreed upon with the Indian state government. The ability to blend a business model with a governmental environment is crucial for this role.

The job requires a candidate with a Post Graduate degree and 10-15 years of professional experience, with an added advantage of an MBA. Ability to work with state institutions in sharing and building capacity around business knowledge like supply chain, finance planning, cost management through workshops and training modules.

Private sector experience in consumer products value chain including distribution, supply chain, pricing and
understanding of P&L is required. Prior experience of working with the Indian government and thorough understanding of government structures is preferred. Candidates with hybrid experience of corporate and government sector will be preferred. The candidate should have the ability to work with state institutions, interact on every level, cooperate and communicate with relevant stakeholders, work with an international team, be flexible, and set priorities. Additionally, the candidate should believe in long-term commitment and achieving social impact.
