Konkuwan Herbs: a partner with big dreams
On the first day of our visit, one of the co-founders of Konkuwan Herbs was inquisitive as to what to expect from our multi-day on-site visit to better understand their processes and offer support. They wondered if it would be too much time.
“Two and a half days?!” they asked. This is a natural first reaction Women on Wings often receives. By the end of out time together, they said they were pleasantly surprised by our in-depth process and wished they had even more time.
Konkuwan Herbs has ambitious goals to engage 15,000 farmers within the next two years. Initially unsure what to expect from our multi-day on-site visit, Konkuwan’s co-founders Roopali Dutta Mohapatra and Rajeshwar Dhavala were pleasantly surprised by the depth of our process.

Our team invested significant time to understand Konkuwan’s unique challenges, dreams, and goals. Through facilitated exercises, we conducted a deep analysis of their partners, customers, revenue streams, strategic aspects of growth, and realistic multi-year target setting.
Together, we pinpointed areas for immediate mentoring and co-created an action plan with realistic deadlines. Konkuwan Herbs was so enthused by the process that they even pushed for shorter deadlines!

Han Agrocare LLP: growing mushrooms, growing economies
In the Himalayan foothills of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, through our partnership with Han Agrocare LLP, women living in rural areas and landless farmers are being trained to grow high-value medicinal mushrooms. Fungi such as Lion’s Mane, Reishi and Shitake provide these women with the skills and resources to become micro-entrepreneurs and achieve financial independence.
