Women on Wings social enterprise partner since February 2025
Konkuwan Herbs’ products are centered around premium-quality, nutrient-rich superfoods, indigenous traditional crops, medicinal herbs, and spices. All Konkuwan Herbs’ farming is done using regenerative agricultural practices. Konkuwan aims to revitalize farmland and uplift farmers while delivering nutritious food to consumers through a sustainable, high-impact supply chain.
Konkuwan is a farmer-centric movement for sustainable agriculture and land regeneration. It is enhancing the income and living of a collective of currently 5,000 farmers, helping them cultivate a variety of crops using regenerative agriculture practices. Konkuwan bridges the gap between sustainable farming, ethical sourcing, and functional wellness by creating premium products such as BluePoppy Teas and Fullish Nutrition Bars.
The name Konkuwan is inspired by Konkuwa, a tribal village in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, where co-founders Roopali Dutta Mohapatra and Rajeshwar Dhavala witnessed the challenges of underutilized farmland, struggling farmers, and untapped agricultural potential. It serves as a constant reminder of their mission to transform farming into a thriving, regenerative ecosystem.
In February 2025, Women on Wings and Konkuwan Herbs entered a partnership to co-create jobs and empower small and marginal women farmers.
