Joined the Women on Wings team in July 2015
Before joining Women on Wings, Shilpa worked with organizations like ITC, Monster and Zeno, specializing in strategic management and marketing. She has extensive experience in building businesses and working with startups. Shilpa had started her own entrepreneurial venture Spring Talent in 2008, a firm specializing in recruitment of senior level professionals. She has been associated with Cankids, a non-profit support group working for children with cancer in India.
In 2015, Shilpa became joint managing director at Women on Wings. In 2016, Women on Wings Joint Managing Directors Shilpa and Ronald van het Hof took over all management responsibilities from Women on Wings co-founders Ellen Tacoma and Maria van der Heijden.
Since September 2023 Shilpa is now jointly managing Women on Wings with Ellen Tacoma.
