HR & Expert Relations Manager

Janet Klijnstra is an HR professional and experienced leader currently serving as the HR & Expert Relations Manager at Women on Wings, an organisation dedicated to creating economic opportunities (jobs) for women in rural India. Since January 2024, she has been responsible for HR operations and managing a network of experts based in India and the Netherlands, matching their skills with the specific requests of partner organizations.
Janet brings extensive leadership and governance experience to her role. She previously held senior political positions within the Dutch VVD, including serving as vice faction leader and faction leader in the Provincial Council of Flevoland, where she participated in coalition negotiations. These roles highlight her background in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making.
Her professional profile is rooted in senior management, human resources, and organizational development, with a focus on building effective teams and enabling impact-driven collaborations. An experienced board member, Janet formerly chaired the supervisory board of a local Rabobank and served as a member of the Economic Board Flevoland.
