Verdant Impact is a Private Limited Company headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Rajasthan is its primary market, with operations in Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. It runs a technology-enabled marketplace for indigenous bovine genetics and livestock, with animal husbandry support, health monitoring, financing facilitation and veterinary services.
It works to raise incomes and build climate resilience among smallholder dairy farmers, typically managing one to five cattle. It has served 2,700+ farmers through commerce and credit, reached 52,000+ farmers through education programs and fairs, facilitated cattle trade worth over ₹190 crore, and registered over 2 crore livestock in its animal-ancestry database.
The company operates a hub-and-spoke commerce model, with revenue from commissions on cattle sales and breeding services, subscriptions for health monitoring, and veterinary services and training. Its financial-inclusion programs have reached 2 million women, and it provides training and career opportunities for women and youth in cattle farming.
Since July 2026, Women on Wings and Verdant Impact are collaborating on our joint goal to increase the number of jobs and co-create livelihood opportunities for women in rural India.
