Desigo® is a women led social enterprise, based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The enterprise works across Rajasthan and nearby urban markets to build traceable, zero-plastic dairy supply chains. Desigo® produces single-origin milk from selected indigenous cows and supplies fresh milk and dairy products to households, hotels, institutions, and food businesses.
Desigo® aims to improve farmer incomes, reduce plastic waste, and create transparent dairy systems for consumers and institutions. The enterprise currently works with 200+ small farmers, and manages over 30,000 monthly deliveries through its farm-to-consumer and institutional supply model.
Desigo® operates through a controlled supply chain model combining farmer onboarding, cold-chain management, processing, packaging, and delivery. The enterprise uses cooling and cold-chain technologies, IoT-based monitoring, proprietary ERP systems, and mobile applications to improve traceability, quality control, and operational visibility across the supply chain. Its work creates income opportunities for rural women through women-led smart farms, dairy production activities, quality monitoring, and local supply-chain operations.
Since March 2026 Desigo and Women on Wings have entered a partnership which aims to co-create more employment opportunities for women in rural India.
