House of Himalayas opens first airport storefront, celebrating local flavors and rural empowerment

A milestone was reached with the inauguration of the very first House of Himalayas Ltd. airport storefront was a resounding celebration, marking a significant step in bringing the treasures of the Himalayas to a wider audience while uplifting rural communities.

Gracing the event at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun were Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Uttarakhand’s esteemed Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. 

Their presence underscored the importance of this initiative for Uttarakhand’s growth. Also in attendance were Secretary-Department of Rural Development Uttarakhand, Smt Radhika Jha, IAS, and Additional Secretary Government of Uttarakhand Manuj Goyal, IAS, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind this venture.

During the vibrant inauguration, esteemed guests were treated to an authentic taste of the Himalayas, experiencing the unique and comforting flavors of Wild Nettle tea and delectable biscuits, providing a sensory glimpse into the region’s rich agricultural heritage.
