Supervisory tasks are strictly separated from managerial and executive tasks. The non-executive members of the board monitor activities and determine budgets and annual plans every quarter. On a yearly basis they review the results and the financial statements.
Stichting Women on Wings owns 99.8% of the shares of Wings International Pvt Ltd in Gurugram, India which operates as implementing agency in India.
Good Governance and Risk Management
Women on Wings adheres to the key principles of Good Governance as formulated by the Dutch Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF) and the Sector Association of Fundraising Institutions in the Netherlands (VFI). These include Supervision and Control Management of Risks and Transparency and Benchmarking.

ANBI
Stichting Women on Wings has the ANBI status (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling), granted by the Dutch Tax Administration, therefore tax exemptions apply to donations. The Dutch Tax Administration has determined that it is mandatory for ANBI’s to publish information regarding contact details, mission, financial data and current activities, and organization and remuneration online in order to maintain the ANBI status.
It is also required that we publish a standard form on our website which will be updated annually. This is the Recognition Passport of the The Dutch Fundraising Regulator (CBF).
