Happy Diwali!

Today (November 13) Diwali is celebrated as the festival of lights.  Diwali is the most important Hindu festival of the year and is being celebrated on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna paksha (dark fortnight) of the Hindu calendar month Ashwin. Diwali involves the lighting of lamps to signify the triumph of good over evil: light over darkness, warmth over cold. Firecrackers are burst because it is believed that it drives away evil spirits. Here you will learn more about Diwali.
