On Saturday January 7th Women on Wings’ social enterprise partner Fabric Plus celebrated the publication of Indian Ways of Silk. A book co-written by Dilip Barooah, CEO Fabric Plus, and Ole Zethner and Rie Koustrup from Denmark. The book is a tribute to the craft of creating silk. It exaximes the creation of Eri and Muga silk of Assam globally, and gives many other interesting facts of Indian silk. The celebration took place in the garden of the Fabric Plus office with many special guests and speakers. Fabric Plus’ mission is to be the number one supplier of silk (in general) in India and the worlds largest supplier of Eri silk.
