Interested in becoming a Women on Wings volunteer expert? From our experience since 2007 we know eight reasons you might want to volunteer your time as an expert.
Women on Wings co-creates jobs for women in rural India by sharing expertise with and providing business consultancy to Indian social entrepreneurs and state government institutions so that they may scale. Opportunities for growth are often within arm’s reach, but sometimes the entrepreneur lacks business knowledge to make the next step. Women on Wings’ experts work with a Women on Wings account team member to bring in that knowledge via onsite consulting workshops and online sessions.
Competencies and commitment
Experts are professionals with a 10-15 years of work experience in a wide range of expertise, e.g. marketing, finance, product development, production, HR, social media, retail and supply chain management. They make their knowledge, skills and time available on a pro bono basis, on an average of ten to fifteen days per year, either in the Netherlands, in India, or both.
The Women on Wings expert community
We regularly organize meetings in Austerlitz (NL), where you share your experiences and where you meet fellow experts. This will also strengthen your own network with people from the international business community.
