Annual Report and Accounts FY 2017-2018

Women on Wings had much to celebrate in financial year 2017-2018: the number of jobs co-created reached to over 240,300. It celebrated its tenth anniversary and Her Majesty Queen Máxima expressed, again, her support to the Women on Wings’ approach.

Growth continues in many areas
Women on Wings’ joint managing directors are very pleased with last year’s results. Ronald van het Hof: “Last financial year we welcomed six new business partners in India in the sectors Textiles & Handicrafts and Food & Agri, resulting in 36 active business partners. And we welcomed 13 new volunteer experts. We now have a network of over 60 experts. These committed professionals contributed a total of 633 working days on realizing our mission”. Shilpa Mittal Singh adds: “We are very proud to have welcomed eight new funding partners, including Abebooks, an Amazon company in Canada, and in India Antrix Corporation, Philips Lighting and Jindal Stainless Foundation. It’s great to witness a growth in partners who believe in our approach and want to contribute to our mission.”
